Our Story
For over 25 years, Canpaco has served as a cornerstone of the Canadian packaging industry. Originally established as a quality paper and packaging distributor in Toronto, we grew into a vertically integrated leader by focusing on customer-specific solutions and local expertise.
A New Chapter: Imperial Brady
In May 2024, Canpaco reached a significant milestone by joining Imperial Dade, the leading independently owned and operated distributor of foodservice packaging and janitorial supplies in North America. Imperial Dade merged with BradyPLUS to form Imperial Brady, one of North America's largest distribution platforms for packaging, foodservice, and facility solutions, with more than 13,000 employees across the United States and Canada.
As an Imperial Brady company, we now offer our customers the best of both worlds: the personalized, local service you’ve come to expect from Canpaco, backed by the immense scale, expanded product catalog, and robust supply chain of a continental leader.

Established in Toronto in 1993, created as a quality paper and packaging distributor in Toronto, Ontario.
Canpaco has grown both vertically and horizontally, representing quality manufacturers in corrugated and board such as Cascades, Kruger, and Arcadian Paper. A focus on recycled paperboard and environmentally sustainable products remains a core value. Having expanded into plastics for food and pharmaceutical packaging, Canpaco can supply industry requirements from product inception and design through to final off-shelf checkout. Through the acquisition of Crystal Poly and the resulting vertical integration, we evolved into a converter and manufacturer of plastics and paper, allowing our customers to buy direct while enjoying the distribution benefit of a stock release program.
Today, that growth story continues as part of Imperial Brady, one of North America's largest distributors of packaging, foodservice, and facility solutions, formed by the 2026 merger of Imperial Dade and BradyPLUS. As a proud Canadian division of Imperial Brady, Canpaco combines the local expertise, custom converting capabilities, and hands-on service we've built over three decades with the purchasing power, expanded product catalogue, and continental supply chain of a $10 billion organization. From over 225,000 square feet across our three facilities in Vaughan, Ontario; Leamington, Ontario; and St. Laurent, Quebec, we service customers throughout Canada and the United States, now backed by a network of more than 13,000 team members across North America.
